Sub-action B2.4 – Selection of optimized EV tyres

For the selection of optimized EV tyres Continental Reifen Deutschland delivers carved prototype tyres to Université Gustave Eiffel for testing on the LIFE E-VIA prototypal test surfaces in Nantes: Université Gustave Eiffel performs constant speed and accelerated pass-by noise measurements according to UNECE R51.03. These tyres aim at optimizing the balance of exterior noise performance and other tyre performances (e.g. rolling resistance, grip) for EV vehicles.

Students enrolled in the Master's program in Acoustics for the Environment, Transportation, Buildings, and Cities will be welcomed to the Nantes campus from January 12 to 16, 2026, where they will attend a week of lectures and practical workshops.
